Automatic Gate Entry System (RS-AGES)
RFID-Based Boom Barrier Control — Authorized Vehicles Only
Overview
RS-AGES uses RFID technology to control boom barriers at society, campus, and office complex gates — opening only for vehicles with valid RFID labels. Unlike easily duplicated car stickers, RFID credentials cannot be counterfeited. The system records all IN/OUT vehicle movements, generates auto-alerts for suspicious activity, and issues short-range RFID cards per vehicle to prevent theft from inside the campus.
Key Features
RFID-Controlled Boom Barrier
The boom barrier opens automatically only for vehicles with a valid RFID label affixed to the windscreen — unregistered vehicles are stopped at the gate.
Vehicle Movement Log
Every entry and exit is time-stamped and recorded in the system, providing a complete audit trail of all vehicle movements in and out of the premises.
Suspicious Movement Auto-Alerts
Configurable rules trigger automatic alerts for any unusual vehicle movement — such as vehicles lingering too long, entering at odd hours, or attempting tailgating.
Short-Range Theft-Prevention RFID Cards
Each authorised vehicle is issued a short-range RFID card carried by the driver. To open the exit gate, the driver must present this card, preventing vehicle theft from inside the campus.
Anti-Duplication Security
RFID labels cannot be replicated with standard printers, unlike traditional colour-printed car stickers — closing the most common security loophole at residential and office gates.
Business Benefits
- Stops unauthorised vehicles at the gate without guard confrontation
- Eliminates the security loophole of duplicate car stickers
- Deters and detects vehicle theft from within the campus
- Complete IN/OUT audit trail for any investigation
- Automated alerts reduce dependency on guard vigilance
- Ideal for housing societies, office complexes, and educational campuses
